Our group classes require a beginners camp in order to start training which is the ideal way to start, these classes run regularly every couple of months.
The beginner's camps get you started in understanding not only the basics but also the structure of how we train as a group. The camps are geared at the level of a beginner and are designed to increase all participants fitness and technical knowledge at the end of the four week period.
No special equipment is necessary during the camp and gloves are loaned out to those without their own.
Training days are conducted over a 4 week period twice weekly every Monday and Wednesday 7.30pm - 8.30pm. After the beginners camp, you will have the choice of continuing to train for the health, fun and fitness side of things or to start learning the sports side of things and learn the contact side of training. Not everyone has the option to move into the sport contact group and this is decided upon based on safety.
